Built by the team AGH UST Racing, the racing car AGH RT 3.5 was awarded a prize in the Competition of Student Constructions KOKOS 2017 in the category “special interest group”.

AGH RT 3.5 is a full-size racing car of the Formula Student (FS) class. The structure of the car is based on a steel frame, and it is equipped with the motorbike engine HONDA CBR 600RR, a full aerodynamic kit, and a telemetry system that records information received by means of sensors. The vehicle had already taken part in international competitions, where it competed with cars representing technical universities from all over the world. In the season 2015/2016, they were FS Italy, FS Spain, and FS East in Hungary, where it reached high positions: 6th place in Acceleration, 8th place in Autocross, and 10th place in Endurance.

This year’s competition gala took place on 29th May 2017 at the AGH University of Science and Technology. The AGH UST Racing was represented by Piotr Zawodny, the team leader, and Jolanta Krupa, who is in charge of the team’s finances.
