Renovation work in Main Library. Main Reading Room closed

Due to renovation work starting on 20 September 2025, the Main Reading Room of the AGH University Main Library is closed.

Until the end of the renovation, you may use other reading rooms and areas:

  • Special Collections Department Reading Room (2nd floor, room 213)
  • Reference Department Reading Room (1st floor, room 121)
  • Self-Study Reading Room (ground floor, room 5 and 5a)
  • Open Stacks Area (ground floor, next to the Circulation Desk)

All Main Reading Room orders are made available in the Special Collections Department Reading Room.

The Main Library’s opening hours in September stay the same (Monday–Saturday, 8am–3pm).

Starting 1 October, the AGH University Main Library will work in its regular opening hours. The opening hours of the Special Collections Department Reading Room will be longer (Monday–Thursday, 8am–7.45pm).
