Social responsibility

The social responsibility of AGH University is reflected in its commitment to fostering and maintaining lasting relationships with various professional sectors, economic entities, public administration, and society as a whole. These relationships are what supports them in solving relevant problems associated with actions for sustainable development and overcoming threats to human safety.

The AGH University of Krakow implements Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to act towards the change and transformation of the world, where the needs of the present generation can be met in a sustainable and environmentally aware manner, taking into account the needs of future generations. The actions are our response to the Resolution adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 25 September 2015, i.e. “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. The Agenda is an action plan for people, the planet, and prosperity.
