The AGH University Main Library encourages you to test Compandex and Patents Plus, databases available on Enginnering Village. The trial ends on 9 July 2025.
Compendex is a comprehensive knowledge and data repository in the field of engineering. It includes publications from publishers worldwide, including major engineering associations such as the IEEE, ASME, SAE, ACM, and many others.

Patents Plus is a database updated weekly, covering both patent applications and granted patents. It offers search capabilities based on US, CPC, and IPC classifications. The patent collection includes records from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO), the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO), and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA).
Both databases, along with tips on how to use them effectively, will be presented during an online meeting on 17 June 2025, at 12pm.
