Dr Wojciech Staszewski from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics will carry out research activities thanks to funding from the National Science Centre (NCN) as part of the MINIATURA 9 call for proposals. The Centre has just announced the first ranking list.
The scientist will carry out preliminary research on an intelligent system for investigating phenomena and recognising patterns of beehive environmental parameters using IoT technology. He will receive PLN 49,621 for his activities.
Under the MINIATURA 9 call for proposals, funds from PLN 5,000 to PLN 50,000 can be requested to finance a research activity carried out over a period of up to 12 months. The subject matter may be any but must be carried out in the form of preliminary studies, library and archive searches, or research visits. The activity financed in the call will be the starting point for creating a research project, the financing of which can be then applied for in the National Science Centre’s calls.
The first MINIATURA 9 ranking list included 54 researchers.
