Poltava Polytechnic students can study at the AGH UST

On August 16, 2022, the AGH UST and the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” have signed an agreement on study opportunities within double diploma programmes and academic mobility.

In particular, the agreement concerns second-cycle degree students in Oil and Gas Engineering and Mining at the Poltava Polytechnic, and specifies the rules related to their education at the AGH UST within full-time Master programmes in Oil and Gas Engineering and Geoengineering and Borehole Mining.

The agreement was signed by Professor Jerzy Lis, the AGH UST Rector, and Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko, Rector of Poltava Polytechnic.

The meeting of the authorities of both universities was also an excellent opportunity to talk about the priorities in providing help to Ukraine by higher education institutions in Poland and to discuss the implementation of a Polish-Ukrainian project regarding youth centres for Ukrainian and Polish students.

Dr hab. (Eng) Mariusz Łaciak, Associate Professor at the AGH UST and Dean of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil, and Gas as well as Dr hab. (Eng) Jan Ziaja, Associate Professor at the AGH UST and Coordinator for Cooperation with Ukraine, have also participated in the talks.
