Agreement between AGH University and Comex for innovation in materials processing

AGH University and Comex have concluded an agreement on cooperation in areas related to mineral processing, recycling, powder technologies, and technologies used in the concrete, cement, and bitumen industries.

The cooperation shall entail the following:

  • implementation of joint R&D projects and validation of technologies developed by Comex
  • development of innovative technological solutions for the raw materials processing, recycling and powder materials production sector
  • organisation of work placements and study visits for AGH University students at Comex.

The agreement on cooperation was signed by Professor Rafał Wiśniowski, AGH University Vice-Rector for Cooperation, and Jakub Progorowicz, director of R&D and Investment at Comex.

At AGH University, the activities resulting from the agreement are to be coordinated by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management.

The company’s sorting systems are adapted to the needs and challenges of mines, as well as processing, chemical and recycling plants. Comex has a team of experienced engineers, its own laboratory, and can boast long-term cooperation with scientific research institutions around the world.
