The AGH University of Krakow will soon bring together researchers developing AI technologies for the 7th Polish Conference on Artificial Intelligence PP-RAI. The event will take place at the Faculty of Computer Science from 20 to 22 April 2026. The paper submission deadline is 6 March.

The PP-RAI conference is one of the most important Polish events integrating the environment of researchers, practitioners, and young adepts in the field of artificial intelligence. The event is a forum for building relationships, exchanging experiences, jointly setting directions for the development of AI in Poland, and engaging in substantive debate on the most pressing challenges facing artificial intelligence: from the explainability and ethics of learning systems, through large language models and natural language processing, to image and sound analysis and generative systems.

This year, the conference will be organised into three thematic panels:

  • Cybersecurity in the Age of AI, moderated by Professor Joanna Jaworek-Korjakowska, director of the AGH University Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence
  • A friendly AI development ecosystem as an opportunity for Poland’s technological sovereignty on the global market, moderated by Joanna Szczegielniak, Connecting the Future Foundation
  • AI for Science, moderated by Professor Włodzisław Duch, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

As per usual, a vital part of the conference are keynote speeches delivered by outstanding representatives of the world of science. This year, the keynote speakers are Professor Marco Dorigo of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, a creator of robot swarms, and Professor Christian Napoli of La Sapienza in Rome, a renowned researcher in the field of AI and deep learning.

Since its inception, PP-RAI has been actively supporting the development of young generations of researchers. The conference includes poster sessions and presentations that enable students and doctoral students to present their research results and engage in direct discussion with renowned experts.

For more information on the conference, see the conference website.

Call for Papers

The Polish Conference on Artificial Intelligence is the perfect opportunity to present research results and establish scientific cooperation.

There are three submission types for the authors to choose from:

  • regular papers (10–12 pages including bibliography) published in Springer
  • extended abstracts (2–4 pages)
  • business project summaries (1 page).

For more information on the submission process, see a dedicated submission subpage.

Over the last six years, the PP-RAI conference has been organised jointly by leading scientific organisations, such as the Polish Neural Network Society, Polish-SIGML, the Institute of Computer Science and the Committee on Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Polish Artificial Intelligence Society, in cooperation with leading technical universities in the country. This year, the host is the AGH University of Krakow.
