Snowboarders from AGH University Sports Association on a podium

The Polish Academic Championships in snowboard finished with our university Sports Association team first in the general classification of men, while our women’s team was third.

Individual medals went to:

  • Jakub Luboński (silver medal in banked slalom),
  • Patryk Urbański (bronze medal in banked slalom),
  • Agnieszka Troszok (bronze medal in banked slalom).

Our team members were: Julia Dąbrowska, Olgierd Duda, Krystian Gaweł, Dominik Janas, Radosław Kalina, Jakub Luboński, Lilianna Ludomirska, Oskar Soczyński, Przemysław Sosna, Dr Tomasz Świderski, Agnieszka Troszok, Julia Troszok, Patryk Urbański, Daria Wawrzyniak, Lena Wójcikiewicz. The coach of the section is Mariusz Wdówka.

The Polish Academic Championships in snowboard took place on 28 February – 2 March 2024 in Białka Tatrzańska (due to the lack of snow in Szczawnica 10 days prior to the start, the competition had to be moved to a new location). Almost 300 people from 40 universities competed in slalom and banked slalom. The event was organised by the Academic Sports Association at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
