Collection – Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management

As AGH UST employees and residents of the Zator municipality, we kindly ask for your support for Ukrainian children and their carers, who are currently staying in the premises of our municipality. At the moment, there are about 200 people, but we expect another 200 to come soon, including probably about 50 children evacuated from a Children’s Home in Kyiv.

The municipality of 9,000 residents has been providing refugees with a place to sleep, something to eat, and life essentials (clothes, shoes, sanitary products, etc.). Simultaneously, actions are being taken to organise care centres for the youngest and classes for the older children in our municipal schools. Therefore, we are in dire need of toys, books, and writing materials (notebooks, crayons, marker pens, paper, school bags, etc.). Maybe your children are no longer using some of their toys and would be willing to share them with their Ukrainian friends? Every single donation will be appreciated.

If you can support this collection, bring the aforementioned items to room 19 (ground floor) in the A-4 building between 9:00 and 14:00.
