Professor Marek Ogiela from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering received a prestigious distinction awarded by the IEEE Computer Society.
In 2021, the IEEE Computer Society celebrated its 75th anniversary. On this occasion, the association has initiated the IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributor Program, an annual award programme for prominent computer scientists.
The first edition has awarded 66 excellent scholars who represent various areas of computer science and conduct research in prestigious science centres throughout the world.
