AGH Space Systems rocket among the world's best

The rocket section of the AGH Space Systems team, with their 3-TTK+ hybrid rocket, won the fourth place in the 10,000-feet flight category (for rockets with hybrid and liquid engines) at the world's largest international student rocket engineering competition, Spaceport America Cup 2023.

This was the first flight of the rocket that the AGH students had been working on for many months. We provided an update on the competition on our website (read here). Let us remind the readers that the main challenge was to launch a rocket powered by hybrid fuel to a height of 10,000 feet. Any deviation from this limit, either above or below, resulted in penalty points.

We are extremely proud of our achievement and full of motivation as we prepare for the next rocket competition, the European Rocketry Challenge 2023, which will take place in Portugal in October. Our team has qualified for EuRoC 2023 along with “Turbulencja” (English: “Turbulence”), the first student rocket in Poland powered by liquid fuel," commented the AGH Space Systems team on their success.
