Fulfilling the obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 14(1) and (2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) [Official Journal of the EU L.2016.119.1 of 4 May 2016], hereinafter referred to as GDPR, and given that:
- you are a representative of an entity with which AGH University has entered into a contract or agreement
- you and your employer or client are bound by a contract or agreement that designates you as the contact person
we inform you that:
- The Controller of your personal data is the AGH University of Krakow, al. A. Mickiewicza 30, 30-059 Krakow, hereinafter referred to as AGH University.

- Your personal data will be processed:
a) in the case of persons designated as representatives: for the purpose of establishing a legal relationship with the entity you represent;
b) in the case of contact persons: for the purpose of communication in connection with the performance of a contract or agreement;
c) for the purpose of pursuing or defending against potential claims;
d) to enable AGH University to fulfill its obligations under applicable law, in particular accounting and archiving regulations.
- Accordingly, your personal data will be processed:|
a) pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, i.e., for the purpose of AGH University fulfilling its legal obligations;
b) pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR, i.e., processing is necessary for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest, arising, among other things, from the Actof July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended).
- AGH University may process, among others, the following categories of your personal data: first name, last name, job title, email address, and phone number.
- Recipients of your personal data will be authorized AGH University employees. Recipients of your personal data may also be entities authorized to obtain the data under applicable laws or entities providing technological support for the IT systems in which your personal data are processed.
- Your personal data shall be processed only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes of personal data processing, i.e. for the period resulting from the internal law of AGH University – Uniform Tangible File Inventory (JRWA), and until your possible withdrawal of consent for data processing in the recruitment process.
- You have the right to request from the Controller access to your data, as well as the right to rectify your data, the right to erase your data, the right to restrict the processing of your data, the right to object to the processing thereof in the cases and under the conditions specified in the GDPR.
- You have the right to submit a complaint with a supervisory authority – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR (...every data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, (…) if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to them infringes this Regulation).
- Your personal data was provided to us by the entity you represent or by the entity that designated you as the contact person in connection with the performance of the contract/agreement.
