The Academic Championships of Poland in sport climbing concluded with the victory of the male team of the AGH University Academic Sports Association. Two of our contestants won individual medals.
Kajetan Kupś won a silver medal in lead climbing and bronze in bouldering. Jan Gruba added his silver medal in speed climbing.
The AGH University representation consisted of: Ewelina Badeja, Jan Gurba, Alina Jagusztyn, Tomasz Kadela, Weronika Klatka, Kajetan Kupś (supervisor of the section), Majka Miezianko, Krzysztof Pałka, Wojciech Pełka, Piotr Robakowski, Milena Rogula, Jakub Sandrakuła, and Julia Seweryn.
The Championships in sport climbing took place between March 23 and 26, 2023 in Bytom. 343 contestants representing 42 higher education institutions competed in bouldering, speed climbing, and lead climbing. The competition was organised by AZS Katowice.
