Organised by the AGH University Student Government, Laur Dydaktyka AGH is a student competition for excellent academic teachers at the AGH University. The engagement, striving for continuous improvement of quality, and acting for student development were the most important factors in the evaluation of submitted applications.

The laureates are selected by a jury of five active members of the AGH University Student Government, including at least one member of the Presidium. The jury is supported by an expert – a person outside of the AGH University academic environment. This year, this person was Dr hab. Stanisław Czachorowski, professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, biologist, ecologist, and entomologist. Populariser of science and blogger. He conducts lectures and classes for students of, among others, biology, biotechnology, and nursing, but also for students at non-degree postgraduate programmes related to the education of teachers, as well as lectures for adults and students at universities of the third age. Initiator and organiser of acclaimed science events.
