Another triumph in a winter discipline at Polish Academic Championships

The representation of the Academic Sports Association at the AGH University won the gold medal in the general classification of men at the Polish Academic Championships in alpine skiing.

Two individual medals went to Juliusz Mitan (silver in slalom) and Wojciech Dulczewski (bronze in the giant slalom).

Women took the 7th position in the general classification and the 2nd in the classification of technical universities.

The AGH University AZS team included: Krzysztof Chowaniec, Wojciech Dulczewski, Jan Gorgoń, Jakub Groblicki, Ksawery Jaros, Juliusz Mitan, Olga Nowotny, Mateusz Płatek, Piotr Puch, Joanna Seweryn, Filip Sowa, Szymon Szczerbik, Michalina Wawak, Iga Wilczyńska, Katarzyna Wójcik, Gabriela Wójcik.

The competition took place in Zakopane on 4–7 March 2024. There were more than 380 participants from 47 higher education institutions. The organiser of the event was the Warsaw Academic Sports Association.
