The results of the newest Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 have been published. The AGH University, which was among 37 classified Polish universities, has improved in the overall score and in all assessed categories.
In this year’s Times Higher Education ranking, the AGH University has moved up from the ninth to the fifth position in the country, locating in range 1001–1200 (previous year – range 1201–1500).
The ranking measures an institution’s performance based on several indicators grouped into five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.
Over 1900 universities from 108 countries were taken into consideration. The University of Oxford once again got the first place, Stanford University – the second, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology – the third.
