AGH University in the top of Perspektywy Ranking

In this year's University Ranking, prepared by the Perspektywy Education Foundation, the AGH University has once again ranked fourth in the overall university ranking and second in the category of universities of technology.

This year's ranking also assessed 74 groups of fields of study in nine disciplines including humanities, social sciences, economics, exact sciences, natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical and health sciences, as well as agricultural, forestry, and veterinary sciences.

In the Ranking of Fields of Study, four fields from the AGH University took the first place:

  • Technical Physics (Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science),
  • Geology (Faculty of Geology, Geophysics, and Environmental Protection),

Professor Jerzy Lis, AGH Rector, emphasises:

"The stable position of the AGH University among the top universities in Poland confirms that our university's educational offer is well structured, well thought out, widely consulted with employers, but above all, from the perspective of this year's secondary school graduates, interesting, diverse, and promising. We are also pleased with the fact that each year there are more and more fields of study at the AGH University that are recognised as the best in Poland."

The following fields of study ranked second:

  • Electronics and Telecommunications,
  • Electrical Engineering,
  • Energy Engineering,
