Trilateral agreement on e-fuels

The AGH University of Krakow, the Warsaw University of Technology’s (WUT) Branch in Plock, and Orlen SA have concluded a cooperation agreement on improving and adapting hydrogen and synthetic fuel technologies.

The cooperation shall entail:

  • the exchange of expert knowledge to seek the most effective technological solutions to produce synthetic fuels, including aviation fuels,
  • implementation of joint R&D projects,
  • improvement of professional skills of ORLEN employees and education of future staff,
  • and joint applications for external funding.

The agreement was entered into on 29 January during the 31st Chemia Symposium by Professor Renata Walczak, Vice-Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology for Branch in Plock, Professor Marek Ściążko from the AGH University Centre of Energy, and Marcin Wasilewski, a member of the Orlen Board for Technology.
