On August 31, 2022, the AGH UST and the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow (AMKP) signed a letter of intent. One of the goals stated in the document concerns a joint field of study in Sound Design.
The two institutions also plan to establish cooperation in the following fields: joint education, research, and internships; organisation of conferences, seminars, and workshops; exchange of academic teachers and students; sharing the necessary infrastructure and other resources.
An interuniversity team will be established whose leaders will be Dr hab. Mateusz Bień from the AMKP and Dr hab. (Eng.) Paweł Małecki, Associate Professor at the AGH UST.
The letter of intent was signed by Professor Jerzy Lis, AGH UST Rector, and Professor Wojciech Widłak, AMKP Rector.
