IFNTUNiG representatives visit the AGH University

The intensification of work on the foundation of the International Carpathian Science and Research Centre was the main topic at the meeting of the representatives of the AGH University and the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUNiG). The talks were held on November 7, 2023 at the AGH University.

Memorandum on the establishment of the Carpathian Science and Research Centre was signed in May this year. During the meeting, rules and regulations as well as the structure of the institution were discussed in detail.

Moreover, the Ukrainian party assured of its willingness to continue the inter-university cooperation and thanked for its course as well as for the humanitarian aid and support from the AGH University in the face of war.

The AGH University Rector, Prof. Jerzy Lis received a special diploma confirming that he was granted the title of honorary professor of the IFNTUNiG.

  • on the part of the AGH University: Rector, Prof. Jerzy Lis, Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Prof. Rafał Wiśniowski, Dean of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil, and Gas, Prof. Mariusz Łaciak, and Rector's Proxy for Cooperation with Ukraine, Associate Professor Jan Ziaja.
