Cooperation agreement with power electronics company CES

The AGH University of Krakow has signed a cooperation agreement with Centrum Elektroniki Stosowanej “CES” sp. z o.o., an engineering firm operating in the energy sector. The agreement entails cooperation in the fields of research, education, and the development of innovative solutions for the energy sector.

The collaboration will focus on industrial and distributed energy, cogeneration and polygeneration systems, industrial automation and control systems, as well as energy efficiency and process optimisation.

The planned activities will include:

  • exchange of knowledge and experience between AGH University academic staff and CES specialists
  • organisation of work placements and internships
  • implementation of joint R&D projects
  • consulting on degree programmes to ensure they meet the needs of the labour market (particularly within the Faculty of Energy and Fuels)
  • organisation of seminars, workshops, conferences, and expert lectures
  • promotion of joint achievements and innovative solutions.

The agreement was concluded by Professor Rafał Wiśniowski, AGH University Vice-Rector for Cooperation, and Witold Płatek, President of the CES Management Board.

The implementation of the agreement shall lie with Dr Karol Sztekler, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels.
