Cooperation agreement with Mikropal

The AGH University of Krakow and Mikropal, a specialist geotechnical company, have entered into a cooperation agreement in the field of civil, geotechnical, and foundation engineering.

The cooperation will be implemented by means of:

  • promotion of joint accomplishments in civil engineering,
  • organisation of work placements,
  • visits of students and staff to Mikropal’s construction sites,
  • Mikropal’s support of student research clubs,
  • scientific and specialist consultation work,
  • implementation of joint research,
  • joint R&D projects and application for funding,
  • AGH University’s scientific support of projects carried out by Mikropal.

The agreement was concluded on 10 September 2025 by Vice-Rector for Cooperation Professor Rafał Wiśniowski and representatives of the company, chairman Tomasz Makuch and vice-chairman Sebastian Bielski.

On behalf of the AGH University, the agreement will be implemented by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management.


Mikropal is a Polish capital company offering geotechnical work in Poland and neighbouring countries. It specialises in jet-grouting and all types of micropiles. Since their establishment in 2017, the company has been expanding their machine park, gaining strong position on the domestic market of geotechnical services. The majority of 320 finished implementations included reinforcing the foundations of historic buildings and securing excavations in industrial, large-scale, and infrastructure facilities. Its engineering staff is associated with the best Polish technical universities, which allows design and performance of the most demanding tasks in geotechnical engineering.
