The application submission deadline is 15 December 2025, 2pm. At AGH University, you must apply via the eCOP system. The card registration deadline is 8 December 2025. 

SONATA provides early-stage researchers with the opportunity to act as a principal investigator. The scientific track record of the principal investigator must include at least one paper published or accepted for publication.

A SONATA project may be planned for 12, 24, or 36 months. Apart from the principal investigators, research tasks in the projects may also be performed by co-investigators, including students, PhD students and post-docs. One can act as the principal investigator of a project submitted to SONATA only once.
