Projects may be carried out over a period of 12, 24, 36 or 48 months.

Under OPUS 29, funding may be requested for research projects carried out in collaboration with partners from foreign research institutions, without foreign participation, and with the use of large-scale international research infrastructure by the Polish research teams, however, not under the Lead Agency Procedure (LAP).

Researchers at any stage of their research career (PhD degree not required) may serve as principal investigators if their research track record includes at least one research paper published or accepted for publication.

The project budget must be justified as regards the subject and scope of research and must be based on realistic calculations. Expenditure must be relevant to the research plan and project tasks. The project budget includes direct costs and indirect costs.

The budget of this call is PLN 550,000,000.
