The aim of the competition is to encourage the development of new, innovative technologies, applications, and nuclear systems, as well as nuclear-focused start-ups. The competition is a perfect opportunity to present the developed solutions and discuss them in a larger group. The theme of this year’s edition of the competition is “Nuclear solutions for global challenges: Designed by You(th)”. The European competition is organised by the European Nuclear Society Young Generation Network.
To participate in the eliminations to the European final, one must come up with an innovative solution to a challenge encountered in the nuclear industry or a solution using nuclear technology. Then prepare a short video (3-5 minutes) or a presentation (10 slides) that discusses an idea that aligns with the theme of the competition. Submit your application by 23 February using the registration form (in Polish). Teams of two, three, or four students or individuals up to 35 years of age are eligible to participate in the competition. Qualified participants will have mentoring sessions and subject-specific webinars. More details may be found in the rules and regulations (in Polish).
The qualified teams will receive a travel grant to the Polish final, which will take place in April 2026. The winners of the Polish edition will receive a travel grant to participate in the European final in Great Britain (11 June, Edinburgh).
