Representatives of state-owned companies and selected universities, including the AGH University of Krakow, have signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the development of the Polish technology of energy storage cells.
Energy storage is one of the key areas of energy transformation. The ability to store energy will also contribute greatly to the increased and more efficient use of renewable energy sources based on solar and wind power.
The development of the energy storage sector has the potential to create over 26,000 jobs in Poland.
The letter was signed in the presence of Piotr Dziadzio, Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, by representatives of the following entities:
The ceremony took place on 29th May 2023 in Warsaw. The AGH University was represented by Professor Monika Motak, Dean of the Faculty of Energy and Fuels.
