Consul General of France at the AGH University

The AGH University was recently visited by the Consul General of France in Krakow, Cedric Peltier, director of Institut français de Pologne à Cracovie. His visit was a perfect opportunity to talk about expanding the cooperation in education and improving language skills of students and university teaching staff.

To meet the French diplomat were the Rector of the AGH University, Professor Jerzy Lis, and the Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Professor Rafał Wiśniowski, who presented the accomplishments of our long-standing cooperation with France. These friendly relations led to the conslusion of an agreement with the French Institut National des Sciences Appliquées Centre Val de Loire last year. The AGH University is an institutional member of the Polish Society of Engineers and Technicians in France, which only strengthens our contact with the Polish community living there.

Also mentioned at the meeting was our cooperation with the University of Toulouse under the UNIVERSEH – European Space University consortium, consisting of the AGH University and a few European universities.
