Agreement on cooperation with Rare Metals

On July 13, 2022, the AGH UST and Rare Metals Sp. z o.o. signed an agreement on cooperation. The parties have declared their will to collaborate in the fields of PR studies and promoting the implementation of circular economy.

The agreement implies that the parties will conduct joint research and R&D projects and develop innovative solutions in the e-mobility, automotive, and Li-ion battery recycling sectors.

On behalf of our university, the agreement was signed by Professor Rafał Wiśniowski, Vice-Rector for Cooperation. The Rare Metals company was represented by Marek Guć, President of Rare Metals, and Robert Makieła, board member.

Rare Metals belongs to Wastes Services Group Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. that has been on the market since 1993. The company was established to build a modern lithium-ion battery recycling plant and provide comprehensive services to the e-mobility and automotive industries.
