Our alumni with the best theses on energy transformation

Four AGH University alumni have been awarded in the finale of the Women's Energy In Transition - Polish Edition, an award which honours the best dissertations dedicated to energy transition, written by female students of energy-related studies.

Besides receiving cash prizes, the winners now have an opportunity to do an internship in one of the Dalkia Group companies in Warsaw or Katowice.

The goal of the Women's Energy in Transition competition is to support female talent and enhance the role of women in the energy industry, promote diversity and develop future expert staff. Female students of Polish universities who have completed their 1st or 2nd degree studies at fields of study related to energy engineering. The theses defended from 1 January 2022 and 30 October 2023 were eligible for submission. In the evaluation of the theses, innovativeness (evaluation in terms of the latest trends in the energy sector) and pragmatism (the possibility of applying the solutions in practice) were predominantly taken into consideration.

The competition was organised by Dalia Polska, whereas the substantive support was provided by the Silesian University of Technology, AGH University of Krakow, and Warsaw University of Technology.
