Double bronze in indoor rowing at Polish Academic Championships

The Polish Academic Championships in indoor rowing finished with the AGH University Academic Sports Association rowers third in the general team classification of both women and men.

The individual bronze medal in the openweight category went to our student, Kamila Jasińska.
The AGH University team included the following participants: Daniel Gut, Kamila Jasińska, Wiktoria Kowalska, Piotr Kurnicki, Magdalena Latała, Hubert Nowak, Roman Nowak, Martyna Panek, Kamil Pytel, Antoni Radomiński-Lasek, Sebastian Rother, Klaudia Sachmerda, Szymon Szczerbik, Maja Wiśniewska. Our trainer is Maria Sajdak, professional rower, world champion, and Olympic medallist.

The competition took place on 23–24 March 2024 in the facilities of the Military University of Technology. There were more than 570 participants from 51 higher education institutions competing in the lightweight and openweight category. As per usual, the competitors were to row the distance of 1000 metres. The organiser of the event was the Warsaw Academic Sports Association.
