The AGH University would like to invite you to EUROTHERM SEMINAR 118 on Hydrogen Energy Technologies held on 8-10 May 2024 in Krakow.

Hydrogen is recognised as a clean energy source and a key chemical raw material. Currently, more than 90% of hydrogen is produced from fossil fuels via reforming. Therefore, hydrogen production powered by renewable energy sources (e.g., solar, wind, and hydro power) is highly desired for the implementation of a sustainable, carbon-neutral energy.

The aim of the seminar is to collect presentations dealing with hydrogen energy technologies: production, storage, utilisation, and transport phenomena. The seminar topics include, but are not limited to:

Fundamentals: Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamic Processes, Measurement Techniques, Numerical Methods,  Adsorption and Desorption,

Applications: Advanced Energy Systems, Advanced Environmental Systems, Biotechnology and Bio Engineering, Education, Manufacturing Processes, Material Processing, Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry.

The seminar is related to the 20th anniversary of cooperation between the AGH University of Krakow and the Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo.
