Sports recap of the season – AGH UST third

In the general classification of the 2021/2022 Academic Championships of Poland, the AGH UST scored 2,640.5 points, giving us the third place.

Most often, our university won the highest places in team games:

1st place:

  • Duplicate bridge
  • Men mountain biking
  • Men handball

2nd place:

  • Women snowboarding
  • Men snowboarding
  • Men swimming
  • Men climbing
  • Floorball
  • Men volleyball
  • Men beach volleyball

3rd place:

  • Men ski racing

Individually: duplicate bridge (pair: Maciej Kędzierski, Błażej Krawczyk), women snowboarding (Agnieszka Troszok, banked slalom), men fencing (Wojciech Lubieniecki, skewer), men powerlifting (Shamte Ndiaye, cat. 59 kg), men rowing (eight: Tomasz Calik, Dawid Długosz, Grzegorz Grabowski, Piotr Grzesik, Marek Kobosko, Antoni Radomiński-Lasek, Jan Rosa, Maciej Smreczak, and Karolina Piotrowska)

Silver

Team: floorball, men volleyball

Individually: men snowboarding (Jakub Luboński, slalom), duplicate bridge (team tournament: Piotr Wzorek, Mateusz Słuszniak, Lech Adamus, Krzysztof Makieła), men swimming (Jan Król, 50 m backstroke), men swimming (relay 4x50m medley swimming: Jan Król, Łukasz Borsuk, Dorian Bachlaj, Radosław Skierski)

Individually: women snowboarding (Agnieszka Troszok, slalom), men ski racing (Juliusz Mitan, slalom), women ski racing (Katarzyna Wójcik, slalom), men swimming (Jan Król, 100 m backstroke), men swimming (Andrzej Michalczyk, 100 m medley swimming), men climbing (Kajetan Kupś), women rowing (eight: Zofia Decker, Maria Goli, Kamila Jasińska, Joanna Kusek, Anna Petryla, Klaudia Sachmerda, Joanna Sorysz, Maja Wiśniewska, and Weronika Żmuda), men powerlifting (Wojciech Rokowski, cat. 83 kg)
