Centre for International Affairs a beneficiary of the NAWA SPINAKER programme

The AGH UST Centre for International Affairs received funding from the NAWA SPINAKER programme for the second time. The sum of PLN 528,526.90 will be spent to organise the second edition of the 'AGH UST International School'.

The chief tasks of the project include the implementation of international intensive education programmes in the form of blended learning in the fields of fundamental issues of power engineering, new technologies, and production automation, current challenges of environmental engineering and protection, monitoring of underground water quality, modern technologies in trenchless construction and renovation of gas pipelines; a course with elements of Polish history and culture and a workshop on academic tutoring for academic staff who participate in the project.

The project will include 16 foreign universities (from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) and at least 70 foreign students/doctoral students, for whom the organiser prepared attractive scholarships (up to PLN 5,000).

The Centre for International Affairs intends to carry out the project in cooperation with the following AGH UST faculties: Faculty of Energy and Fuels, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, Faculty of Geo-Data Science, Geodesy, and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Geology, Geophysics, and Environmental Protection, and Faculty of Drilling, Oil, and Gas.
