Nearly 170 debates and 11,000 participants – this is a brief summary of the European Economic Congress that took place in Katowice between April 26 and 24, 2023. The AGH University also took part in the event as a partner institution. Our university’s booth was visited by hundreds of people interested in modern technologies, and our scientists took active part in the sessions.
The EEC participants had the chance to meet our Martian rover Kalman with which the AGH Space Systems student research club came. The employees and students associated with Eduvrlab from the Faculty of Humanities talked about the research perspectives in the field of virtual reality and the sociocultural potential of VR and AR (augmented reality) technological potential. The AGH University featured a VR portal that transported visitors to virtual realities in which they could learn real-life skills.
