Group of experts from Tanzanian Ministry of Water have visited AGH UST

On 13 November AGH UST hosted a group of experts from Tanzania headed by Professor Kitila Mkumbo  Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Water.

Between 12 and 16 November Poland was visited by a group of experts from Tanzanian Ministry of Water. The study tour constituted part of a larger project coordinated by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, with active participation of Poland. The main goal of the project is to determine the ways in which Poland and OECD could assist Tanzanian authorities in their actions targeting problems of water management as well as to establish pathways for constructive support in the process of implementing effective and efficient policies in the water management sector.

Members of the experts’ delegation from the Ministry of Water included: the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary – Prof. Kitila Mkumbo, department representatives: Dorisia Mulashani, Nadhifa Kemikimba, Peter Kishiwa, Enock Wagalla and David Mbulumi – a journalist.

During their visit, the delegates met researchers from AGH UST. The University was represented by Professor Jerzy Lis  Vice-Rector for Cooperation. Members of the delegation visited AGH UST’s laboratories and took part in thematic sessions held in the Main Hall of the University.
