Technology Transfer Centres of five Krakow universities: AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow University of Technology, Cracow University of Economics, Jagiellonian University, and University of Agriculture invite you for the second edition of a joint event facilitating direct encounters with the creators of inventions developed within a project co-funded by the Ministry of Education and Science in the Innovation Incubator 4.0 programme. Demo Day of innovation 4.0 will take place on March 9, 2023 in the JU Auditorium Maximum.

The thematic scope is quite diverse: from new devices, through materials, functional food, and environmental protection, to novel treatments and medicines. The common denominator of all these technologies, which respond to important needs and challenges, is the fact that they have the potential to become products or services available on the market.

The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Professor Witold Orłowski – professor of economics, professor of WUT Business School and Vistula Academy in Warsaw, PwC Chief Economic Advisor. In the past, he was Chief Economist to the President of Poland and a member of the National Development Council to the President of Poland; now a member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Council, President of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum in Warsaw, and Special Adviser to the European Commission. He lectured at numerous Polish and foreign universities. He authored 15 books and 200 academic publications; he is a popular economic columnist in major Polish media.

During the event, the participants will have an opportunity to talk individually and free of charge to patent attorneys, tax advisors who will offer guidance through the meanders of tax reliefs in R&D activity, as well as experts from the Enterprise Europe Network who will indicate appropriate funds for acquiring money for implementation of innovative solutions and for cooperation between science and enterprise sectors.
