International conference: Geotechnology and Energy AGH 2022

Digitisation and decarbonisation of the fuel and energy sector is this year’s main theme of the international Geotechnology and Energy AGH 2022 conference scheduled between October 19 and 21, 2022.

The event is a continuation of the Drilling-Oil-Gas AGH conference, which has been organised by the Faculty of Drilling, Oil, and Gas for more than 30 years.

The aim of the conference is a substantive debate with scientists, experts, representatives of public administration, energy companies, fuel companies, and the IT sector on selected aspects of energy transformation, as well as the popularisation of knowledge about the latest solutions in the field of digitisation and decarbonisation of energy companies and the fuel sector.

The key aspects to be discussed during the conference include:

• digitisation and decarbonisation of energy companies and the fuel sector
• development of the renewable energy sector and hydrogen economy
• energy storage and transport
• challenges related to the geological storage of CO2, environmental protection, and energy waste management
  
  

The conference is addressed to a wide group of recipients professionally related to the broad energy sector: employees of research institutions and universities, government and local administration, as well as doctoral students and students.
