17th Academic IT Festival

Between March 14 and 16, 2022, in the JU Auditorium Maximum, the 17th Academic IT Festival will take place. The event is intended for all those interested in computer science and new technologies, gathering IT enthusiasts and aficionados from the entire country, regardless of their profession or age.

Is virtual reality capable of changing the world? When is artificial intelligence smarter than a human? How do hackers gather information and prepare for an attack? How did video games revolutionise art? Sounds interesting? These are just a few lectures and workshops that all creators and aficionados of the IT sector can attend free of charge.

You will also have the opportunity to hear from students who develop some of the most spectacular and advanced student projects on a daily basis. The AGH UST Solar Boat Team, the creators of an autonomous solar speedboat, will present methods for collecting environmental data, their programming work, and aspects of using neural networks.

Participation is free. However, to participate in workshops, you must register (PL).

The organisers of the Academic IT Festival are student research clubs from four Krakow universities:

  • Computer Science Students' Association
  • Student Research Club BIT AGH
  • KNI IT Scientific Club
  • Student Research Club CUT IT
