SUMMARY:START 2026 (call for applications)
DESCRIPTION:The scholarship is addressed at researchers representing any fi
 eld of knowledge who will not be over the age of 30 in the year of submitti
 ng their applications.\n\nThe applications are evaluated in terms of the qu
 ality and originality of the candidate’s scientific output and the most sig
 nificant research achievement.\n\nIn the previous edition, the scholarship 
 amounted to PLN 30,000. The stipend may be used for any purpose. In the upc
 oming competition, the Foundation for Polish Science will award approximate
 ly 100 annual scholarships.\n\nThe START Programme also offers financial su
 pport covering travel expenses to a research centre abroad selected by the 
 candidate. There are also individual scholarships with a distinction.\n\nTh
 e results will be announced in the second quarter of 2026.\n\nNote: As per 
 the regulations of the START programme, you may be a laureate of the schola
