SUMMARY:EUDIS Defence Hackathon and Mentoring Spring 2026
DESCRIPTION:The theme of the 2026 Spring EUDIS Hackathon is Defending Airsp
 ace.\n\nThe teams will work on solutions in three categories:\n\n 	cost-eff
 ective drone interceptors 	next generation drone detection systems 	defence
  against cognitive warfare \n\nFor whom?\n\nThe hackathon is addressed at t
 eams of two to five persons with technological and business skills, such as
  start-ups, engineering teams, and specialists. The main focus is on teams 
 that already have an MVP, a prototype, or a validated concept and are ready
  to take the next step. The teams will be supported by professional militar
 y, technological and business mentors. All participants must be at least 18
  years old and be citizens of an EU country, Norway or Ukraine.\n\nRegistra
 tion\n\nTo register, refer to a dedicated hackathon website. The deadline i
 s 20 March.\n\nPrizes\n\nThe top three teams will receive monetary prizes (
 prize pool of EUR 10,000). The hackathon winners will also gain access to 4
 0 hours of mentoring programme held over two months to support them in buil
 ding sustainable and successful businesses, introducing them to important d
 efence knowledge and contacts.\n\nAbout EUDIS\n\nThe EUDIS Defence Hackatho
 n is an initiative by the European Commission supporting innovation in the 
 defence sector. It brings together talented individuals from across Europe 
 to work together on key challenges related to defence, cybersecurity and re
 silience. EUDIS hackathons are funded by the European Defence Fund (EDF), a
