SUMMARY:ERC Advanced Grant 2026 (call for proposals)
DESCRIPTION:The ERC Advanced Grant is intended for outstanding researchers 
 who are leaders in their fields, have significant scientific achievements, 
 and experience in managing research teams.\n\nThe ERC funds frontier resear
 ch – pioneering, ground-breaking scientific projects with a high potential 
 for significant impact on the advancement of science. Projects may cover al
 l fields of research and are evaluated solely on the basis of scientific ex
 cellence.\n\nThe maximum funding available for research projects is €2.5 mi
 llion for projects lasting up to 5 years, with the possibility to apply for
  additional funding of up to €1 million. Researchers moving to Europe from 
 outside the EU or countries associated with the Horizon Europe programme ma
 y apply for additional relocation support of up to €2 million.\n\nThe call 
 documentation, including the Guide for Applicants, is available on the call
  webpage. Applications must be submitted electronically via the Funding & T
