QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) University Rankings 2020 have just been published


AGH University of Science and Technology ranked as 5th best Polish university in QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) University Rankings 2020, which list higher education institutions from Emerging Europe and central Asia.

25 Polish universities have made it to the ranking table. Below we present the top 10:

1. Jagiellonian University (ranked 6th globally)
2. University of Warsaw (ranked 7th globally)
3. Warsaw University of Technology (ranked 14th globally)
4. Wroclaw University of Technology (ranked 43rd globally)
5. AGH University of Science and Technology (ranked 52nd globally)
6. University of Wroclaw (ranked 57th globally)
7. Adam Mickiewicz University (ranked 60th globally)
8. University of Silesia (ranked 77th globally)
9. Cracow University of Technology (ranked 79th globally)
10. Poznan University of Technology (ranked 80th globally) 

The ranking includes 354 higher education institutions, of which all three top spots went to Russian universities: Lomonosov Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University and Novosibirsk State University respectively.

The QS EECA Ranking is based on several indicators, including: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, international research cooperation, web impact, the number of PhD holders employed by the institution and the number of international students.
