Honorary Doctors

Doctor honoris causa (Latin: ‘for the sake of the honour') is an honorary academic degree conferred on individuals who rendered immense service to culture and science. It is usually awarded to people of high social and academic status.

Here, one can find information on individuals who have been bestowed the title by the AGH University of Science and Technology as well as AGH UST staff members who have been distinguished in this way by other universities.

The Honorary Doctor Degree is conferred during a ceremonial session of the AGH UST Senate.
