The AGH University of Science and Technology has been accepted as an associate member of T.I.M.E. - the Association of Top Industrial Managers for Europe. The decision was made by the General Assembly of the T.I.M.E. Association during its annual meeting in Paris.
T.I.M.E. is a programme of bicultural education completed by obtaining a double diploma. The aims and principles of the programme were formed in 1989 by 16 European universities in 9 countries. The T.I.M.E. Association was registered in 1998 on the application of 29 universities in 12 countries in order to execute the T.I.M.E. programme effectively.
Members of the T.I.M.E. Association (https://www.time-association.org) are currently 51 best European technical universities in 19 countries. Poland is represented by only two universities. Among the T.I.M.E. members there are also four non-European universities - two from Japan, one from China and one from Brazil.
According to the requirements of the Association statute, a co-ordinator of the T.I.M.E. programme at AGH-UST has been appointed. This role has been entrusted to Dr Konstanty Marszałek . The main responsibilities of the programme co-ordinator encompass providing and making public all information regarding the principles and implementation possibilities of the programme, co-ordinating activities of the faculties interested in the programme, supervision of the programme accomplishment, regular contact with the Association and representing AGH-UST in the Association.
