International cooperation is the basis for the university's existence on the European and worldwide arena of science. Numerous international trips of the university lecturers and students are coordinated by the Department of International Relations , which is responsible for promoting the AGH-UST educational offer on the international arena. Among others, the international cooperation of the university encompasses the following international programmes: The Lifelong Learning Programme Erasmus , and other types of scholarship . Within the frames of these programmes, both teaching staff and students take part in the international trips of the research and scientific character.
