The non-nationals may apply for admission to a first-cycle degree programme if they are holders of:

a)    Polish secondary-school leaving certificate, or

b)   certificate or other document granted abroad, legalised or marked with apostille and entitling to apply for admission to degree programmes at universities of every type in the country in the system of which acts the institution issuing the certificate and the certificate is deemed equal to an adequate Polish secondary-school leaving certificate according to the provisions on recognition of school certificates and secondary-school leaving examination certificates granted abroad or recognized, on the basis of an international agreement, as equal to adequate Polish secondary-school leaving certificate or as entitling to enrol in such a degree programme in the Republic of Poland.

Non-nationals may apply for admission to a second-cycle programme in AGH University of Science and Technology if, apart from the above mentioned documents, they are holders of:

a)    Polish higher education diploma of first-cycle programme, second-cycle programme, long-cycle programmes or,

b)    certificate or other document granted abroad, legalised or marked with apostille, and entitling to enrol in second-cycle programme in the country in the system of which it has been issued and deemed equal to an adequate Polish diploma of completion of degree programmes according to the provisions on recognition of the diplomas of completion of degree programmes obtained abroad unless they were exempted on the basis of those provisions from the recognition procedure or recognized on the basis of international agreement as equal to adequate Polish diploma of completion of first-cycle programmes or as entitling to enrol in such second-cycle programmes in the Republic of Poland.

The creditentials may be recognised in the Poland on the basis of international agreements or - in the case of their lack - on the basis of recipes about the nostrification.
